How I Work

No project managers in the middle. No handoffs between "sales" and "delivery." You talk directly to the person writing the code and running the servers.

Direct communication

You work directly with me, not an account manager. I write the code, I attend the calls, I answer your questions. There's no intermediary layer between your requirements and the implementation.

Full ownership

I own the work end-to-end — architecture, build, deployment, and post-launch management. Nothing falls through a handoff gap because there are no handoffs. One person is accountable for the whole system.

Honest estimates

I give you a realistic scope before we start, not an optimistic one that grows. If something is more complex than it first appears, I tell you before I start it, not after I've billed for it.

Systems that last

30 years of shipping production systems means I build for maintainability, not demos. Code that's readable, systems that are observable, infrastructure that runs without constant babysitting.

Flexible engagement

Project-based, retainer, or hourly — whatever fits your situation. I work with startups, established businesses, and everything in between. Engagements can be one-off or ongoing.

Response within one business day

I don't disappear after a project ships. Questions, issues, and follow-on requests get a response within one business day. For managed infrastructure clients, I monitor 24/7.

From first contact to production

01

Initial conversation

We talk about what you need, what you have, and what success looks like. No questionnaires, no NDAs on day one — just a conversation. Usually 30–60 minutes.

02

Scope & estimate

I put together a written scope with deliverables, timeline, and cost. This is a real estimate based on the actual work, not a number pulled from thin air.

03

Architecture & design

Before writing a line of code, I lay out the data model, system architecture, and any third-party integrations. You review and approve before anything is built.

04

Build & iterate

I build in stages, giving you working software to review as we go. Regular check-ins keep you informed without requiring you to be in the weeds.

05

Deployment

I handle deployment to your infrastructure or set up new servers as part of the project. Zero-downtime deploys wherever possible. Full documentation delivered.

06

Post-launch

The project doesn't end at go-live. I'm available for questions, bug fixes, and follow-on work. Managed hosting clients get ongoing monitoring and maintenance.

Good fit
  • You need a full-cycle technical partner, not a vendor
  • Your project requires deep Laravel or PHP expertise
  • You value reliability and maintainability over flashy demos
  • You need infrastructure managed alongside your applications
  • Your project has hospitality, healthcare, or data compliance requirements
  • You want direct access to the engineer doing the work
Not the right fit
  • You need a 10-person team with dedicated PM, QA, and designers
  • Your project requires expertise I don't have (I'll tell you)
  • You need someone on-site full-time
  • Your timeline doesn't allow for proper architecture and planning

Sounds like a fit?

Let's have a conversation. No sales pitch — just a direct discussion about your project.
